call manager reporting

Hi
I am new to call manager and voip
I have been asked to run a report the find out number of call to certain phones etc.
Can anybody recommend a book/pdf so i can learn more

Also can someone recommend a general book/pdf where i can learn more about call manager in general

the version we are using is 6

You can set up a report inside the CDR Analysis and Reporting Tool in CCM Servicability. Get into CCM and add your User account as a CAR Administrator under Groups. Then you should be able to login and do your reports.
I haven't looked for a book on CCM 6 yet so I can't recommend one. However there are a couple Cisco Press books available on CCM 4 that are very good. About 75% of the material would still be pertinent to CCM 6. CCM 4 is a Windows based system and CCM 6.is Linux so none of the OS material will be of any help. But the concepts of Partitions, Calling Search Spaces, Route Plan, etc is still relevant.
