I'm just about to install CCM 4.1(2) in a home lab. I was going to buy a 7815 MCS, but realized that it is PC. If I match the specs of an MCS 7815:
- Pentium 4 3.06GHz
- 1GB RAM
- 80GB+ HDD

Will the install complain...meaning why should it complain? Is there something in the BIOS that the Hardware Detection CD is looking for other than the processor/memory/HDD?

It will complain. It looks for the HP or IBM BIOS I believe. I've had trouble trying to use HP/Cisco disks on an IBM/Cisco server. It came back and told me that my hardware was not supported even though it was a Cisco branded IBM server. I had to find my IBM/Cisco disks. You'll have to do the registry hacks to get it installed.
