Good day all. At a new Water Plant going on-line soon, we're asked if we can integrate the CCM with the Gai-Tronics in-house paging system. The Gai-Tronics is a stand-alone system which acts like a paging and phone system (it has handsets). I'm sure we could set-up an access code to get from the CCM to the paging system as normal and make an external page. But the "contractor" would like dial access from and to both systems. IE: CCM dials an access code, gets Gai-Tronics dial tone and then you can dial and extension (location/handset) wherever you want on the Gai-Tronics. And vice-a-versa from the Gai-Tronics. In my "old world" we would call this a tie-line. Please let me know your thoughts.
Thank you!

sure it can as long as the gai-tronics can support any of these:
Analog:
trunk port (FXO) or station port (FXS)
E&M

Digital:
CAS T1
PRI

Or it can always connect through a SIP trunk if the capability is there.

Is the gaitronics integrated with the current phone system or is it stand alone and just for paging? If I am not mistaken it is a PA system and not a phone system despite the "handsets". But I might be wrong.

Thanks for the reply. It's all new. The Gai-Tronics is a paging and intercom system. From it they can page and dial the extension of the handsets located around the plant. Really overkill for what we could have installed.
