Hi,

I've had a Cisco 2800 Series Phone system with Cisco 3560 Series POE-24 switches installed.

If I buy an additional switch, can I alter Call Manager Express to read 62 instead of 48 and will it work?

I need to move from 44 phones and 3 fax/modem lines to about 56 phones and 3 fax/modem lines.

I know I need quite a bit of programming doing but am I ok with the basics?

Cheers in advance,
Carl.

The number of supported phones is dependant on the Model of router you have. Generally speaking, it's like 24 for a 2801, 48 for a 2811 , etc. Get into config, telephony-service section and enter 'max-ephones ?' This will give you the maximum number of phones available on your platform.
The fax/modem lines are seperate from ephones. They are dependant on your physical FXS ports.

Thanks!

I have now got a price to upgrade from 2811 to a 2851 and will have to spend loads of money :(

Carl.
