call manager express can outside caller get directory of employees

I have ver. of cme Cisco Unity Express Version 7.0
I admin the dial by name option to include new employees and current employees. the dial by name does not have the option to list employees which I think would be helpful. Is this a possible option does anybody know?
 
What do you mean list? Without typing anyones name? Just read out the names and extensions of all employess until you hear the one your are looking for?
 
let me be clearer outside person calling in, gets option to dial by name but has to know persons name, can an option be set to dial by directory and it gives them a list of names and or departments. I know a list of names would be crazy if you had over 10 employeeses but how about departments etc. I am not talkiing about from the inside talking about stranger calling general number and does not know anybodys name. we do have a general mailbox number but something like a list names option would be helpful.
 
You might be better off building an options list: For Facilities, press 1, for sales press 2 .... etc, then have generic numbers set up on strategic phones for each group. I do not think you can get lists the way you want it, at least from the canned system, you might be able to write a program that can do that I suppose.
 
hmm that might work, I did not see that option in cme Cisco Unity Express Version 7.0, do u know if it can be done it that ver?
 
You will need to built a auto attendant to do the above which is a script in the CUE. There is a script editor tool on cco specific for CUE. You will need to download that and learn how to use it so you can right a script to do the above.
