The company I work for has just downsized IT resources. They cut the person who was managing CallManager and Unity servers. Now, I am stuck with it and the first problem I have faced is resetting user password, the one used to access voice mail on IP phone 7940. I followed the manual: opened Call Manager and went to users global directory, found the user which password I want to reset and clicked on "change password," entered new password and clicked on "close and update." I went to the phone and tried to access messages but, without success.
What am I doing wrong, or what else I need to do? I appreciate any help on this issue. I hope my company will provide some kind of training on this system soon.
Thanks

The voicemail password is set in Unity, not in CallManager. Open the Unity admin page ( go to subscribers. Find the subsciber you wish to change. Click on the 'Phone Password' link in the left menu. Type and confirm a password and click save. You can also check the box to have the user change the password on next login. If the trivial password policy is enforced on the Unity server, then you can't choose a password of all the same digit, or consecutive digits.

Thanks AdmanOK. That was easy. This forum rules!
