The accountant at our office wants to record a log of all call so they can reference them for billing. Dose anyone know how this information can be kept in a file the average person can review? This office has an Mics 2 with Flash voicemail.

Thanks

Valtag,
You will need an SMDR and a terminal program, printer or adapted data base such as a call accounting program. The SMDR is a Norstar module att to a stn port. It has an RS232 output and can be configured for several different output formats depending on how new the unit is.

Billing like you are discussing is what the account code portion of the SMDR module is designed for. you enter the F9XX code for account code and then put in the account number for that customer, the smdr output will flag that account with the call and then your call accounting package can sort out the billing by the account code.

laywers offices love this.
