Call log 1

Hi,

I'm looking to use the call log on my 1140E phone. I set the space per log and the # of sets with logs appears.
When I try to set the call log options in the "Capabilities and Preferences" of the active dn,I choose to register all the calls, but but when I enter the number of calls to record the system tells me that the maximum value is 0.

Can anyone help me?

Because the Log space is split up with all the other phones.
You need to reset the log space if you have a 50 or 450 goto
advanced features and reaclcate the logs. If a 400 with 3.7 or below go to feature settings call log space then config to change.

I have a bcm50, and I can't use the call log at any of my phones. I have reset before the log spce and still doesn't work. Must I check something more?

I'm sorry did not finish where to go. feature settings>advanced features> reset log.Then it will open up and you program how much log space and how many phones.

Just tryed it and after you enter the data and press ok ,if you open it up it is back at zero that is just for resetting if you look at the sets the log space is there. Now if you set it for 10 each it will put it on the first 60 sets if your set is 61 and on you have to go into each of the 1-60 sets that are not using call log and zero out the log space and this will add more back to a pool of log space.Then you can add it to yours.

I followed the steps as you said me, but when I try to enter the value for an individual telephone, a message said: "The value that was entered does not match the format of the field: Value not within min/max range (minimum:0, maximum:0)"

Maybe I don´t have this option available?

I was checking this out on a BCM 1.0.
When I entered 10 for the space for a set it auto changed the bottom to be 60 sets.
There is 600 call log space to split up between the phones.

I can enter the space and the bottom auto changed to 60 sets. But then when I try to enter the space for an indivual set, a message said that the value must be between 0 and 0...

I have a bcm50 3.0

Sounds like a s/w glitch.Try a reboot if that doesn't work try loading the latest patches.

I just tryed it and if you try to enter on the set more than the aloted for the sets 10 then it wont accept it.
I went into the advanced and reset the log to 0 sets and zero # of sets with logs and then in the preferances of the set and it showed that the log pool was 600 and I could enter any number for the set up to 600.
