I have a new bcm 400 that I just put in. The customer is a big manufacturing facility that catches fire quite regularly. They want to be able to tell who(what extention) dialed 911 in the event of an emergency. I was told by my supplier that this could be done. I am having trouble making this happen. What is the best way to do this? I have tried to export the log info from the admin tab and that doesn't seem to work. We got one file out and it is in a .tar format. What do we use to view this? The bcm monitor is great, but everytime a call comes in on a line it erases the info from the last call.

Thanks for any help.

The bad news is I was told I could do this with the basic system. I sold that to the customer. My bad for not checking that out first.

CDR is built in, but only supplies raw data. You'd have to sift through the data to extract the DN that made the call, but possible. Call Accounting software would make that easier.
