Call listen and line appearances 1

Hi, why is it that when you program call listen for the bosses, anyone with a line appearance can "barge in" on that line, even if they are set to "cannot intrude". It's annoying and doesn't make sense. Is it that when you setup call listen, then nobody but the bosses can have line appearances?

Use call appearances.

A user who can normally be intruded on can indicate that a call is a private call by using a Private Call short code or programmable button. While private call status is enabled, no intrusion is allowed except for Whisper Page intrusion.


In trouble to be troubled, is to have your trouble doubled.

Nobody should have line allearences, there are reasons you always see us saying this

Server Edition Release 9.0.4 : Having similar problem where customer has boss/assistant setup where assistant has bridged appearance for boss' line 1, 2 & 3. Boss has "cannot be intruded" ticked off. However, assistant can still intrude on boss' calls.

If you told us as it is than it should be OK that way. Usually the boss should have 'Cannot be intruded' enabled.

The only thing I didn't mention is that the Bridged Appearance Buttons are on Button Module.
