If I put only first 3 digit 669 in colp table then will it do ? please help
After having installed the PRIB/PRIBE in an enmpty SLOT, use PGM101 and PGM103 to choose the board ID and the number (search order) of the PRIB compared to other CO line boards.
Where this LG phone system is to be installed, we use CO numbers of 8 digits. Out of these 3 digits are for the station number.
Then follow this:
1.
PGM 143 + CO line number - CO line number + button 1.
Here you enter "01" for the COLP table "01", that contain e.g. the first 5 (fixed) digits of the whole DDI number.
2.
PGM 143 + CO line number - CO line number + button 2.
Here you enter "01" for the CLIP table "01", that contain e.g. the first 5 (fixed) digits of the whole DDI number.
3.
PGM 143 + CO line number - CO line number + button 4.
This field is to be set to 2 to enable the flexible DDI converting table in PGM 231.
4.
PGM 143 + CO line number - CO line number + button 5.
This should be set to 5 for tell the system to remove 5 digits from the 8 digits received from the CO (public exchange. (DID RN, Remove Numbers).
5.
PGM 140 + CO line number + CO line number + button 1.
This has to be set to 3 for DDI numbers.
6.
PGM 146 + button 5.
This should be set to 3 as the station numbers are 3 digits long.
7.
PGM 146 + button 6.
This field should be set to: " #*** " telling the system that the first 5 digits are fixed (#) and the 3 last one can be variable.
8.
In PGM201 index 01 you enter the 5 first digits of the costumers DDI number.
9.
PGM231 - very important!
This is the flexible DDI number table...
Use this way to install the DDI table:
Button 3 - Clear DataBase.
Button 2 - Restore Default DataBase.
Button 1 - Create a DDI number.
The DDI number can have up to 9 different answer positions, and these can be answered in Day, Night or weekend "places":
The DDI-nummer (000-999) should be entered first.
With Button 1-5 you can enter the following data:
Button 1: DID name,
Button 2: Day answer position.
Button 3: Night answer position
Button 4: Weekend answer position.
Button 5: Reroute Destination.
Each of the 3 answer positions (time answer positions) can
have one of these 9 answer places:
1. Extension (station) number.
2. Grouppenumber. (PGM190/191).
3. VMIB (voice message) (00-70).
4. VMIB (voice message)with hang up (00-70).
5. Speed dialling number (2000 - 3499).
6. Internal paging(01-10).
7. External paging (1-3).
8. Internal and external paging (1-3).
9. Network number in VoIP solutions.
Ok Doktor
It works perfectly
Now in the same idea of nkusche, does PRIB/PRIBE supports CAS R2 protocol or is there another board for CAS (MIC R2)Because in my country the is no ISDN but only CAS for 30B+D links
I think that there is support for the CAS R2 protocol, but you need to ask your local dealer, as I have never tried it out. We only use standard EURO ISDN.
QSIG is supported:
The ipLDK-100/300 system supports QSIG function using PRIB board. There are two kinds of connection for supporting QSIG function. One is the direct connection between LDK systems with PRI line, the other is the connection through Public Network with PRI line.
Note : LDK-100 PRIB(w/o CPU version) can not be used as NT(master mode) for Q-sig.
GDK-100 PRIB(w/o CPU version) can be used as NT(master mode) for Q-sig in LDK-100 System.
In fact the board that supports CAS R2 is R2DCOB and not PRIB.
But It seems like it supports only Koren, Indian and Mexican CAS R2
Not all the contries are supported.
This is what we had as answer from LG-Noretel support.
If you have avery good (big) costumer potential, then you may persuade LG to develope s/w for "CAS for 30B+D" (in our country it was called "customer link", but now a days, it is not sold any more).
Do you not have any ISDN in your country.?
I could guess this... Now as all PBX go towards SIP trunks, then you also need to jump on to that waggon.
Still ISDN and LG products have been running stable through many years.
