Hello,

I have a little tricky problem :
I have a problem with a customer in SCN :
Some users just don't stop dialling external numbers for SCN destinations.
Problem is that with a sip trunk, call can't be distributed.

Is there a simple way ( I try to avoid a 100 lines ARS with all ICR inside ;) ) to divert those numbers to internal numbers ?

Assuming you have 100 numbers in order, you can block this numbers in the ARS by only entering the first xx digits..

Would be too easy ;)
I have a sequence of 30 (starting with ...1 ) then some sequences of 5 not continuing, and 20-30 single numbers... And of course, internal numbers are not linked to external for pretty all the numbers...

Normally I just use Dial Extn shortcodes to convert anyone dialing/forwarding to their external numbers

Thank you janni78 !

Since I read wrong your post I didn't understand directly.
I need just to add that shortcodes are easily exported/imported in .CSV

Well done!

Don't divert, block. If you divert them then people never learn. By diverting, you do work that you then have to maintain just to allow them to continue with incorrect behaviour.

But there are many methods. For me, either ARS or Incoming Call Route

ARS: Have two ARS forms 50 and 51.

In ARS 51, have all your normal short codes for outgoing calls of different types that you allow.

In ARS 50, add N;/N/Dial/ ARS51. And then barred shortcodes for all the external numbers your company has.

Incoming Call Route:

Assuming you don't have 100's of outoing CLIs also, just have an incoming call route with the Incoming CLI set to your own outgoing CLI and routed to a voicemail servers stating "That external number is barred, please use the correct intertnal number".

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I don't need to block, external link is a SIP trunk.

Problem is that installation is multi-site with one exit.
Users even don't really know they are on the same system.
Explaining that to all who could use a phone is a no end problem.

Okay. So they're too stupid to learn. No I understand you.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
