Hello again room...I was wondering if there is a way to setup a calling bridge for our sales force.

Right now from internally we can make 8 parties on a conference call.

I was asked if there is a way to call a 800 number and have the the same feature as a conference call. So 7 people call the 800 number and they all would be able to talk to each other.

Thanks.

Siemens has an add-on for conferencing. It can do voice, video and web conferencing depending on what you get - it does require a server. I've been looking to do some major upgrades within the next couple of years and that was one of the items on the ticket. I have so much stuff from the research process that I won't be able to find all the info, but I think it was called Expressions or something like that.... Well, Expressions might be the voicemail, but I know it has a catchy name....

Out of the box there is no way to do it with just a base 4000 as far as I know

Expressions replaced Phonemail. As for the Conference last install I did for Siemens it was Meet Me Conference and yes it did require a server. You may want to contact your sales person from Siemens if you are interested. There is also another product called Sonexis Conference You may want to look into this I do not believe this is a Siemens product.

Yes, those are the two I was looking at, Sonexus and Meet Me (which I couldn't find product literature for on the wiki), depending on which vendor gets the project. Both of them require a server, but from what I got the Siemens product seemed a bit less expensive and a bit more robust - probably because of the same platform integration. I think either of them would be good choices, but if I get my way I will get the Siemens version.
