Call History on 5550ip console set up.

Hie to you all.

Need to enable call history on the above console, the HELP file says I must 1.Tools 2.Options 3.Database , were I am required to TICK to ENABLE then put a PASSWORD & DATABASE name then Click to TEST. When I do the test it always fails.

My questions are 1.what is the password required (is it any of my choice & what length) 2.what is the database name,( is it the IP address of the pabx or of the console)?

Could someone please give me a more detailed step by step approach to achieving Call History on the console.

Did you have installed a Postgress Database Server?

If not download and it install it.

Follow the instructions in the help file of the 5550 console how to configure the Postgress database.
