Call History on 53xx sets on 3300 MCD 4.2

A customer complained that the unanswered calls going to her set won't show under missed calls if they hang up before hitting the voicemail.

Would a call history key show missed calls differently then when it is accessed through the application key?

There is a difference between the Call History app. on the 5330, 5340 and 5360 phones and the System call History.
For the missed call not showing, that sounds not correct, are you sure there is a calling party supplied to the phone, because without it won't show a missed call.

Did you set the max call history records on the device AND in the system options assignment?

The number I am doing the test calls from will show up if I hang up after the mailbox greeting started to play but it will not show if I hang up before...

If they miss a call from an hidden caller ID it'll still show up under "anonymous" or something, provided it reached the mailbox..

In the system options I have "call History - default call history records" set to 20, and I do not know where else to look.. In the menu of the phone itself?

I found the other setting, under Multiline IP set, it is at the default 20 as well...
