Call fowarding to voicemail

Okay, it seems like this should be simple, but……

I have inherited an OTM 2.2 system. I have discovered it to be quite a work horse, but have not been able to resolve what I’m sure is a simple situation for the system learned-

The facility would like an incoming call to ring at ext 1234, after four rings fwd on to ext 5678 and then to ext 5678’s voicemail.

What occurs- an incoming call rings to ext 1234, and after four rings fwd on to ext 5678 and then rings indefinitely, never fwd to voicemail. Ext 5678 is set to FDN to voicemail as well as Hunt to voicemail. When ext 5678 is dialed directly it rings four times and goes to voicemail, just not when coming from ext 1234 (or any other ext I would presume).

Any suggestions?

Check to see what DRT to prime is set at, if it's the same number of rings as CFW then it will ring the prime set for that line. If this is what is causing the problem change DRT to prime to 8 or turn it off

Sounds like you need a tech if you do not know how to program.

You need to know how to enter, navigate and the password for configuration programming.

System programming- Feature settings; DRT to Prime =Y
DRT delay=4 XFer Callback=4
