when you dial ext 2000 i want it to go to ext 1000 then 2000 then voicemail for 2000 and not to ring on 2000 the first time you dial as it is a director and the pa has to screen calls.i cant call forward to xported station with the required cover path.ANY IDEAS OUT THERE

provide a new number to the director(3000)
change station 1000, X the station port
add a new coverpath (add coverp next)
point1=2000
point2=3000
point3=h99
add the newly created coverpath to station 1000

VM indicator: change station 2000 and/or 3000, and add vmbox 1000

Hi

I have a question on your programming; I want to understand what is happening at point 3. Does it redirect to the second station’s voicemail or the first station’s. Voicemail

I do some thing different. I use this when we have some away for extended period of time and want to monitor there voicemail.

Point 1: 11138
Point 2: v43744

The call ring at the first station if not picked up it rings at a second station. If it is not answered at the second station it goes to a vdn which directs the caller to leave a message on the second stations voicemail.

Point 3 is going to your voicemail Huntgroup.

In your scenario,you are routing to an extension first then seems like it's going into a VDN for a vector.

hi keith,
h99 always goes to the first dialed station.

so, behind vdn 43744, you have a vector with messaging to station xxx, where xxx is the second station.
I think that is indeed the only way for your problem.*

problem here is that the pa should always be able to call the director him/her self!
so, therefore you could use the (hidden) station 3000
(I forgot to use an @-sign in the name to make it hidden)

only problem is that when the director calls her/himself, you can see the number 3000.
we have an old definity, maybe in a newer version this can be hidden.
