hi all
I have a customer with a Magix (not sure of rel), they want calls to come in and after 3 to 4 rings if no one answers to forward to a 800 number. I think they have do this thru the provider (call forward-no answer) or is there something in the switch that can do this?
thanx in advance

How you Call Forward the main number depends on the type of lines or connecting facility your Magix has, example: PRI, DID, POTS...

I would keep the forwarding through the line provider as that will work even when you have a power outage or your system gets hit by lightning or a grumpy epmloyee that hits it with a hammer.
You have the best option in my eyes already just keep it that way.

I like your handle, ringerc4a.

Yes, the C4A ringer, one of the best Western Electric ever made!

If you have POTS lines, then Call Forward No Answer or Delay Call Forwarding would be your choice. You can specify how many rings before forwarding the call, but that is on a per-line basis, and not user programmable. Check with the service provider for options.

thanx for the info , they are POTS lines and I will pass this info on to customer
