Using ACS r6 and either PC mail or Partner Messaging,
I can get ext's to be answered by voicemail for that ext no problem, if I call forward to the same ext. voicemail will not answer, is there any reason why,or is there a work around?
Example all incoming calls go to auto attendant then to "10" for reception, if not answered then to VM of "10"
if "10" is call forwarded to "16", 16's VM will not pick up if not answered, yet any normal calls to "16" will be answered.

TT Tommy, thanks for the fast reply, with call cover the original ext's VM will answer the call( 10 c/c to 16,16 DA then 10's VM will answer correct?) what I'm trying to do is get either call forward or call cover the destinations VM to answer on a don't answer, the reason is in my case the extensions are in 2 different bldg's and 10 is forwarded to 16 at night, and their looking to check for missed calls on 16 at night, worst case I'll have them check on 10 if there's no way to get a forwarded call to be answered by ext 16's VM

Yes, with Call Cover, the call will ring at the original extension, then ring at the covering extension, then cover to the original extension's voice mail.

You may also want to lower the Call Cover Rings in #320 to 1 ring if it is only used at night.
