On an Option 11C is there a way to set the amount of rings before the call forwards to the CFWD location. (i.e. ring 2x then forward??

Phones are 3904/3902's

You need to know how your system is setup for this first

LD 21
Req: Prt
Type: RDR
<cr>
Look for CFN0, CFN1, CFN2. The numbers for these prompts is the # of rings before transfer to whereever FDN is Set.

On the set side, the prompt RCO refers to CFN. RCO-0 = CFN0, RCO-1 =CFN1, RCO-2 = CFN2. If the CFN prompts are not what you want you can change them in LD 15
Req: CHG
type: RDR
CFN0: (enter the new parameter)
CFN1: " "
CFN2: " "

Remember - any changes to these prompts affects all the phones with the associated RCO parameter.

I checked the CFN prompts and they are set. CFN0=4 so it should ring 4 times before CFWD to another phone. The RCO was 0 so it should correcsponde and ring 4x before forwarding. It doesn't though. ANy thoughts??

If you are saying the call never forwards, Check the following:

CLS = fna
FDN = (ext where you want to forward)

For forwarding on a busy "Hunt"

CLS = hta
Hunt = (ext where you want calls to Hunt)

Is this what you need?

Call forwards immediately without ringing #n's first. Basically sales rep forwards his phone to another when out. But sometimes when in. Wants it to ring a couple times first before forwarding.

Set CLS CFTA and CLS HTA, then edit the prompts EFD & EHT to your VM; this is all in LD 20.

Is the sales rep forwarding his calls using the CFW key ? If so, the foregoing will only help if the CFW key is not used. CFW is immediate.
