Call Forwarding - Way To Activate Light ??

Hi All,

I am trying to find a way to program a button on a 6416D+M that will Forward Calls to a pre-desiganted extension and then activate button light to show status of divert.

I have found out through tests that Send-Calls + Extension will only activate another extensions Send-Calls or own if blank, the same seems to be with Call-Fwd, however if blank you can enter an extension number.

Any ideas how you can achieve function without keep entering an extension number when you press button ??

We are using G3-R012x.02.0.111.4

i always had to program two buttons: one call-fwd without extension number and second abrv-dial for an entry that contains forward fac and destination number. when user press second button, first one is lit and can be used for turning off forward.
