Call forwarding to external numbers while connected?

Hi all...

Is there a way to forward calls (to an external number) whilts connected to them?

E.G.
I get a call, I listen to the person then I press a 'hotkey' and the call is forwarded to an external phone number associated with that hotkey.

Does anyone know if this is possible, I can only find documentation on forwarding on busy/no answer and not for when connected.

Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

I dont know a way to bring somebody else in whilst you are talking to somebody. You would have to conference them which would mean pressing hold etc.

Or if you were using the conference meet me feature you could get somebody else to ring them and transfer them into the "conference room"

I think I've over complicated the issue.
Basically all I'm doing is forwarding the call to another person - I've been playing around and I think I can set up the hotkeys on the phone with the external numbers and then just forward as normal.
I'm just experimenting now.

Do you mean you want to transfer to another user outside the office? If so, enable trunk to trunk transfer on your line. Then to use it, when a call comes in press transfer then your shortcode to access a line then dial the number. Wait for the person to answer and hang up. You could program the short code and number under a button, but you will always need to use transfer.
