Hi,
Here is the setup:
- 1 SIP Trunk from Carrier #1
- 1 SIP Trunk from Carrier #2
- Most phones use SIP Trunks from carrier #1 (via interconnect 1)
- A few phones use SIP trunks from carrier #2 (via interconnect 2)
Question:
I have a call forwarding always setup on a phone that is in interconnect 2. When an inbound DID comes in to that phone in interconnect #2, i noticed the system is using outbound SIP trunks from carrier #1.
More or less curious if this is normal behaviour? It makes sense, as it's not the phone sending the invite, but rather the system itself.
Just wanted to throw it out there.
Thanks!
