Hope someone can help.
My company has just had a upgrade from CM 3.3 to 4.1 and we are now having problems with call forwards when busy.
e.g Main number 6909 is set up to forward to 6910 when busy then 6910 will forward to 6911 when busy the problem is when 6909 takes a call the next caller will get either a dead line tone or the annunciator saying they have incorrectly dialed and not forwarding to any of the other phones. The users dont want voicemail and are not using pilot points.
Any help would be most grateful as the person who normaly looks after our system is away for the next 5 weeks.
thanks

Sometimes upgrades will tweak settings. Did you check all of your lines created 6909 10 11 to make sure they are all still partitioned correctly? There are two ways we can do this here. One is, we have created a partition for all four numbers to roll over 2100 01 02 03 04. each line has it's own partition set up as PT_LN1, PT_LN2 etc. Simply set them all up as seperate lines with their corresponding partition setups. 4 admin phones are set up this way.

The other is to simply set the forwarding directory number configuration like this 6909 main rolls to 6910 for all forwarding except forward all on 6910, then 6910 rolls to 6911 on 6910 for all forwarding except forward all. Then you can do a wrap back to 6909 from 6911 if you don't want the call to drop to vm. This way it just keeps going through each line until someone picks it up. Hope this helps.
