Call Forwarding Private Lines to Flash voicemail box

Hello everyone!

I have a situation where I have programmed a Norstar set to call forward no answer calls to the voice mail extension number after 3 rings. The set has a personal voice mailbox assigned and initialized. It also has a private line. When I call the private line I sometimes get the personal mailbox after 3 rings and I sometimes get the main Automated Attendant greetings after 3 rings. Any idea what would cause this? The line has not been programmed to be answered by the Automated Attendant in the Flash programming and the DRT to prime has been set to No in the Norstar programming. Assistance is appreciated!!

Bonnie,
Try some of the following:
- move the ring cycle out to four rings for the call forward no answer setting on the phone;
- make sure the private line does not appear or ring on the VMail DN;
- even though DRT to Prime is set to 'no', set the rings to 12 or so; and
- make sure the DND on Busy is set to 'no'.
