Looking to set up one of the selector codes to transfer the caller to another line on the magix without centrex service.

I think I have the procedure, but it has been so long since I have done it.

Set up an extension on an adjunct.
Give that extension an auth. code
From another extension use the auth. code to get into that extension and forward it to the outside number.
Set the selector code to transefer the call to that extension.
give that extension a transfer only permission.

Sound right?

You have it correct. The adjunct extension needs to be authorized via system programming for trunk to trunk transfer - and using an adjunct - setup as you describe - is the easiest call forwarding solution. The dial string for the forwarding may need to start with a "9" "pause", to grab an outside line, then the number, depending on how your system and line selections for the adjunct are set up.

No pause needed - at any multiline set, go off hook on an SA button, then dial
