Currently working on an IP500v2 7.0.32 Set up for standard mode
CENTREX LINES are connected to this system.
Cannot get outside calls to forward through Auto Attendant.
1- Unconditional forward works but they don't want to press a button, they would rather have the desk phone ring once and then forward to their cell phone.
2- Forwarding works when calling from one phone to another
3- Forwarding works when calling the auto attendant internally using a shortcode
4- Forwarding also works when an external call is transferred
The only time it does not work is when an external call uses the auto attendant.
1- We have to dial an 8 to get an outside line with Centrex.
2- We programmed the 9 to automatically dial the 8 to make the system easier for the end user. (ars table)
3- We have all extensions programmed to forward with a 9+area code +number
4- We have the boxes checked- “forward on busy” “forward on no answer” “Forward internal calls”
5- Cannot do forward unconditional due to client NOT wanting a “out of office” button on the phones- “staff WILL forget” although tested and working fine through Auto Attendant.
6- We have the “no answer” programmed for 6 seconds= system minimum.
7- Only have dial by name programmed.
Also does anyone know how to forward using Centrex from standard keysets using Short Code/ programmable buttons?
