Hi All

Hoping for some help on a call forwarding setup. It seems like it should be simple but it's not working and I'm drawing blank.

IPO 8-0-53 with VM pro server

Setup: 2 phones;
What I want it to do.
ext 300 RNA, forwards to ext 301 if that RNA's then it should go to VM for 300. Same setup in reverse for 301.

What I have configured so far.
-VM on for both sets.
-Forwarding on no answer and internal calls checked. Forwarded DN is the other set.
- Under Telephony Call settings: no answer time is 13 seconds and transfer return is 30.

Most of the calls are being blind transferred to these two extensions from an internal receptionist if that makes a difference.

Am I missing something?

Thanks!

What about using an assisted transfer in VMPro?
No need for forwarding at all.

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

In what way is it not working? What's the voicemail answer timer?
Voicemail answer time will win over any 'RNA' forwarded calls. You need BNA timers on for both extensions at 15 seconds to the other extension. Voicemail answer timer of 16-29 seconds.

That is why you should use the assisted transfer action.
