Call Forwarding from Voicemail

Having trouble getting call forward to work from voicemail. You can call the extension internally and it forwards out imediately, but when being tranfered from the voicemail it won't go. It just goes to voicemail.

Can you give a little more detail on what it is you're trying to do? Are you wanting the voicemail to answer, then forward, or just straight forward to the other number?

I want the voicemail to answer and when they press 4 to get to this user it forwars offsite. Hope this helps.

Are you using analog trunks? If so ensure "allow forwarding" is ticked on the line forms.

Can you hit the AA internally via a shortcode, press 4 for your user and see if that works?

What firmware are you running?
