I have a cellphone customer who will forward the calls to MM and expect the callers to get his/her mailbox.

Should the mailbox have the cellphone number or enter the cell phone number in the associated DN.

You have 2 options. You can give a second DID (that covers immediately to MM) to have this person forward (busy/rna) to and have this extension be a secondary extension to their mailbox.

The other option (not so clean) is to have their cell forward to their primary DID (which will incurr additional ringing for the caller) that should then end up in their MM mailbox. However if their cell is also their associated EC500 this option may not work.

Forwarding an EC500 cell phone back to the primary DID causes a secondary ringing on the cell phone. You can ignore it and it will then go to voicemail.

Think of it as a second chance to answer that call you just missed!
