I have a customer who has a MICS unit and needs to setup a temp site for a couple salespersons for a few weeks. They want to be able to transfer calls from their main office to this other office. IS this possible? What equipment or Services would they require?

Can they then also dial an extension to speak to the other office like they would an in house extension or just simply be able to transfer calls?

how far away is the temp site.. If your in like a suite right next door u can just run some station feeds from your MICS and cross connects the home runs to it. then those phones will be sitting on the same system..

Other than that any other solution would be expensive for a temp space.

Cause u can tie 2 systems together with tie lines but again ur lookin at some pretty major costs for a temp thing.

U might want ta look into seein if your local telco can help u out with that.. They might have a temp solution for u so ur not having to drop major $'s on a temp. solution

a really cheepo solution if you have s/w rel 4.1 or newer is to set up a destination code to go to a routing table and then have the routing table dial whatever the local number for the other office is. then when a call comes in the receptionist can transfr the call to the destination code.
