Call Forward

Is there a way i can set a button on a 2616 to be perminantly call forwarded. i.e. cannot be taken off from the phoneset itself.

Did you probe with BFS ??

If a BFS key for that phone is programmed on say a bosses phone, the boss could press the BFS key and forward the associated phone to his. The boss could also see the status of said phone and know whether it is in use and if it is forwarded.

What do you want to accomplish by permantly forwarding a phone?

i work in an it department and am not at my desk much, but we have decked mobile phones that we carry around with us. the decked phones have a standard dn that i forward my desk phone to.

someone in the office keeps taking my phone off forward, and sometimes i forget to check when i come in in the mornings. i report faults etc. to variouse suppliers and vendors and sometimes wonder why they havnt got bak to me, only to find when i eventually get back to my desk that they have gone to mail.

I have a 500 set (fax) programmed on an Option 11 release 23.
I have CLS programmed as FND & HTD, and there are no hunt or FDN DN's defined on the TN. Yet when the fax is in use, incoming calls forward to the receptionist. I don't want this to happen--subsequent calls should receive a busy. The fax DN is a DID.
Where should I look to solve this problem? Could the answer be in trunk or RDB programming?
