Call Forward to External DN from Callpilot

Good day,

The situation is this, I have a BCM unit that is running AA and I need to transfer some calls out of callpilot to an external DN atr another location. How I accomplished this at other sites is to have a phone connected in my network cabinet that just sits there and is forwarded to the external extension. But at the location I am at now all extensions are in use. So I do not have that luxury of having an idle phone sitting in my cabinet doing nothing but forwarding calls to the external DN. Is there any other way of achieving this? On the meridian I would just create a Phantom DN and forward it, but I am told phantom's dont work on the BCM. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

We are using the CCR tree but to forward the calls to an external DN it does not work. I am trying to send the call over VOIP trunks to the other location. Any other solutions?

Make sure the CallPilot ports (Active Application DN's) have access to the proper line pools (such as Pool F for the VOIP trunks).

I checked, some of the active application DN's had access to the Pool. So what I did was to grant access to those that didnt have it already. But it still does not work. Any thing else I can try? i FOUND SOMETHING, On a newer BCM unit I saw the option Enable Network Call Transfer so I ticked it and that solved the problem on the newer BCM. But I do not see that option under the older BCM unit. I guess upgrade is the answer but there must be a way to do it without the upgrade.

Any help will be grateful,

Thanks,

I found a solution, on the newer releases of callpilot its not a problem, simply enable network call transfer. But for those of us still running the old versions of callpilot that do not have this feature this is what is done. Under the CCR Tree in your menu transfer options, where you specify the DN associated with that menu option use the option Route and not Intercom if the DN is external to the BCM. Using intercom the system tells you the person you called is not available. But using route seems to use the destination code programming and routes the call over the route specified for that destination code.
