Hi All,

I was wondering if I am going about this the right way or if there is another method I can use

One of our staff members doesn’t require a desk phone anymore and wants all his landline calls diverted to his mobile permanently

I have done this by going into his station number (7042) and turning on “enhanced call forwarding” to his mobile number and also putting an X in the port number so I can re-use that port with another extension number

My question is by doing it via this method am I using up one of our station licenses or because I have made the port into an X I am therefore not using a license?

Many Thanks,

You can use a virtual station and utilise a "coverage remote" path on that station , this way no license will be used , just delete the existing and recreate the virtual using that station ID

ACSS (UC/SBCE/SM/SME)

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.

how do i create a virtual station or coverage remote path please?

many thanks,

rob

add station next, set type is virtual, cha coverage remote then find an unused line number for example line 5 populate ars access code 9 for example and then mobile number. next add coverage path next, point 1 on coverage path would be r5, now assign this coverage path to the xported station. Now when called it will look immediately to the coverage path which will route to the mobile phone

you the man, thanks, it works a treat and this doesnt use up a station license?
