I have two OPT 11C's in different locations, seperate from each other. Only one has Meridian Mail. I want to call forward from the OPT 11C without mail to the one with Meridian Mail. The problem is the call is forwarded to the auto attendant but I can't get any further to the desired extension for the mail because of the greeting. Can anyone offer any suggestions, DID's are not an avaible option, Thanks!

It sounds like you want to use the mail from one Opt 11 for the users on the other. The only way that I know of to do this is to network the 2 PBX's with a T-1 using a D-channel. The D-channel is necessary to pass the mailbox information to Meridian Mail. Otherwise you run into the problem you described above where MerMail does not know what mailbox to send the calls to.

Sglis is correct. The Meridian Mail recognizes the original DNIS that is called to send the caller to the correct destination. If you are using a T1 span to tie the sites together, re-provision the circuit as a PRI span with a D-Channel and you should be able to use the Meridian Mail for both sites. You will need to make sure your numbering plan does not conflict. This is easy and we used to do this for two Option 81's in the same city.
