Mitel 3300. Is there a way to activate call forwarding on an extension from an off net number.

I have a FAC for Call forwarding - Follow Me - Third Party but I don't know how to activate that FAC remotely.

Depends

if you had another application you could use Micollab client to change the status of it
otherwise you would have to use DISA - activating DISA shouldnt be done lightly as its a toll fraud opening

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

yes feature access codes. You need to enable all the Call forwarding options in COS.
Then you need the Hot Desking Access number configured in System access points.
The offnet number needs to be added as an EDHU
Finally on the trunks enable call recognition.

@keschber

Simplest way I can think of that doesn't compromise the security of your system or use too much in the way of programming or licensing.

Create a speedcall to dial the digits
Allow your Voicemail ports to dial the 3rd party code in COS (you may needs the trunk to be capable as well/instead)
Allow your VM ports to transfer to any station
Call in to Auto-Att and dial Speedcall Digits.

I have not tested this, the theory is sound.
