I need to set up a route for all calls to be forwarded to a long distance number from an extension by Feature 4. I'm not too familiar with T1s, but have the basic procedure. But I am unsure about which destination code to use. Here's the procedure, please tell me if this should work-

Routing Service- Show
Routes-Show
Show Route 001-Show
Dialout: No Numbr- Next
Use:pRI A Or PoolA?
DN Type: Public

Dest Codes- Show
Show Dest Code:Add
DstCode: 026? 80? add * ?
Normal: 001-Show
AbsorbLength:All
No Night schedule, etc.

Do you dial 9 to get an outside line?

If so just forward all from the station to 9 1xx-xxx-xxxx

The phone needs to have allow redirect to Y set. In the sets capibilities.

Since you are already using a PRI that means that you are already using destination codes (dest codes are required to be used on a PRI) so you should be able to just forward the station. dial feat 4 then dial the number of the forward target just as if you were dialing it to call it. no programming required.

Agreed. No need to complicate it.

As said, though, make sure you allow redirect on the phone in question under T&S/Capabilities.
