What are the steps to forward an ext off site?

Authorize the extention for call forwarding, put a forward button on the phone, program the forward button to send the call where you want. There will be differences - depending on what version of software is on the procesor - so it would help to know that.

What you can Call Forward to is determined by what Class of Service is assigned to the station you want to CF: ARS/FRL or toll restriction, etc.

This subject matter has been covered in past threads. Use the search function of the forum to find them. It is very easy!

Check the restrictions on the extention you are using for forwarding. Press menu, system program, start/exit, extentions, restriction, key in ext number and press enter - and see if the extention is restricted from making toll calls. If it is - change it to unrestricted and press enter. You may also have to change restrictions in ARS.
