call forward not working from digital handset

nortel meridian 11c

person at this extension is no longer with the company, so they want me to forward the calls to another phone.

typical you just pick up the handset, hit #,1, then the number you are forwarding to.

that isnt working, when we try we get fast busy signal.

what am I missing?
is it because it is a digital line?

there are a few ways to do this but i would just re-prog a button to CFWD 4 then use that...button 5 maybe

the x needs to be the length of the digit string.. or take it out.. put it back in when you need it

The above steps will help you out w/ this problem, but evidentially your Feature codes are out of wack. If you're use to pressing #1, then chances are your other users uses the same steps, you should be proactive and see what's up.

you are not supposed to use #1?

I was never sent to any nortel classes like the guy before me was, so my knowledge is a mile wide and 1 inch deep.

and I am probably exaggerating the width.

He means it is out of wack because it is not working the way you say it should.

You can have up to 100 User Access Codes, #1 is just one of them.

Go into:
LD 57
Prt ffc
cust 0
code all

This will list all of the codes.

If #1 use to work and now it doesn't, you might have to delete it and then put it back
