Is there any way of getting a number to call forward WITHOUT coverage.

for example I want to manually call forward a number that has no mailbox to a number that is call forward always to voicemail only and would like it to go to this mailbox and not the original called numbers mailbox. It seems that with CCM 4.1(3) that the coverage is trying to pull this call back to the original numbers mailbox which dosen't exist. Is there any way around this?

How about setting up a CTI Route point for DirectToVM so that if they dial #+ext it goes to the specific ext voicemail box, then just forward the phone you want forwarded to #+ext of the persons mailbox you want.

ie: you want 9001 to be forwarded to 9002's voicemail

on 9001 line config, do a forward all to #9002

Also, in the CTI Route point config, set up a line for;
DN - #[1-9]XXX
Voicemail Profile - DirectToVM
Forwarding - Check all boxes
Max # of calls - 5000
Busy Trigger - 4500

You will need the voicemail profile if you dont have it already;

Name
Description
Voicemail Pilot
Voicemail Box Mask

------------------------------------
Dallas, Texas
Telecommunications Tech
CCVP, CCNA, Net+

CCNP in the works

You can do this with a VoiceMail profile. Put the number of the Mailbox you want the call to go to in the Voice Mail Box Mask field. It will then mask the 'calling number' of the phone.
