Call Forward Main line

Using a Norstar CICS 6.1 and a T7316 phone. 1 trunk line

Dr. office forward calls to answering service at end of day. Answering service number 777-7778.

Can the main line be forward to the answering service or will I need to subscribe to or phone service for this feature?

Yes you can forward, but serviceboy is right. It is a crap shoot to have system forward call. Programming a speed dial button and letting them forward through telco is much better option.

If he only has ONE trunk line he can use, then the ONLY way to forward the call is through the telco .. He can do it through the phone system if he has atleast 2 lines (one for incoming and one for outgoing) but like serviceboy and phonyman say, quality is not great and I wouldn't recommend it anyways.
