Have a BCM install that was recently "revamped" from analog lines to a PRI. Each extension has its own 3-digit extension number, 2 appearances of the user's "direct line DID", and 5 of the phones have 2 appearances of the company's main line DID.
The goal was that if the receptionist is busy or stepped away from her desk that the additional 5 users can pick up the main line without having it fall through to auto-attendant (though it does fall through to the attendant if nobody answers after 4 rings). This part of the configuration is working perfectly for them, except...
If any of those 5 users call-forwards their phone to their cel, the main line is forwarded as well.
They've tried using redirect instead, and this works for their direct DID... but unfortunately then calls to their 3-digit extension don't get forwarded, nor to calls that are transferred to them either by other users or the auto-attendant.
What would be the best/recommended way to have the main line DID appear at multiple phones (preferrably with multiple appearances on each) in a way that call forward won't follow.
Cheers,
