CALL FORWARD I2004 OFF SITE

HEY MY VIRTUAL FRIENDS IN NORTEL OUTER SPACE!!!!

I know this is probably real easy, but I cant figure it out. I have read of the few other posts but cant get it. I have copied a station for review. I am trying to forward this IP 2004 offsite to another number. I have the CXFA, and the CFW 16, and the number in the FDN. I am not sure what else I am missing. It is still going to the VM. based on the programming the phone will forward no answer to 8304060 after x numbers of ring defined by RCO 0

if you want the phone to be forwarded at all time then define a target on the CFW key and make sure the phone is forwarded.
 
You would think that, but......

1. Phone does not forward to 830-4060. After 4 rings it says this person does not have a VM box.
2. Customer does not want to forward it manually. He wants it done all the time.

Ideas?
 
change it to another number (like a 800 number) and test, could be telco redirecting back.
 
changed the fdn to an 800 number and it still says "you have been forwarded to the VM system, but this person does not have a VM box.

I went and read the post you said to review. I think you are saying that my trunks are not allowing offsite forwarding is that correct? If that is the case then I probably need to get the vendor to look at it. Please let me know what you think? Thank You, Mary
 
New Information - My boss tells me that he has forwarded off site from this location off his M3903 so the TDM trunks must be set up. BUT this is an IP PHONE, an I2004. Arent there different types of trunks that have to be allowed?
 
What happens when you set a manual forward on the phone to the external number? Does that work ?
 
Its probably your CDB (Customer Data Block)
RDR - Redirection Data options for Call Forward No Answer treatments

LD 21 / PRT / RDR
LD 15 to CHG

Probably need to change CFO to CFF aswell

I see the CFO. What does CFF allow? I will go look in our other PBX and see. Be Back.
 
OK in the PBX that it is working the:

On the one that is working the FNAD on the RDR_Data is FDN and the one that is not is HNT
CFTA is No on the one that is not working and the CFTA is yes to the one that is working.

Do either of these have anything to do with it?
 
I would change FNAD to FDN the same as the one thats working
for your DID callers and test

CFF is really for allowing phones with a 'Restriction' to be allowed to follow the called extn CFW activation

YEAH!!!! That worked. I changed the FNAD to FDN in Load 15.

How do you all keep up with all of these acronymns?
