We have 2 sites 200 miles apart. I can login remotely to the Mitel at the second site to administer. The digital extension in question exists alright, but there is no phone attached. If I was there, I would temporarily attach a phone at the BIX block, set up "call forward always", and detach the phone. Is there a way that I can remotely set up this extension to CFA? Would Feature Access Codes be a possibility?

I already tried Call Rerouting Always Alternative, but there are not enough digits to select a number at the second site (9-xxx-6500). We are setup for 4 digit dialing between the sites, but CRAA won't accept the four digit number (6500).

SX2000 at both sites. LW 32 at site 1 and LW 34 at site 2. Problem extension is digital.

Thanks,

T

Yes,

you will need a feature access code programmed for Call Forward third party.

you can allow someone to use the code via COS option.

Get said someone to dial the code for you.

FAC# Orig# Dest#

eg with FAC = *11, ext = 1234, dest = 92015551212

dial *11123492015551212 from phone with COS option enabled.

Optionally you can enable the option on the trunk COS and use DISA.
