Hi there. We have had this working in the past (I think), but no one uses it...until now. With COVID-19 happening, people are wanting to work from home, and have their DID forwarded. If someone INTERNAL calls their EXTENSION, the call gets forwarded. If someone EXTERNAL calls in, their personal phone rings once, and then comes back to their voicemail at the office. It does this for everyone.
What do I need to change to make this work? I have tried the COS settings for call forward settings, including changing the call forward no answer setting.
Here is how we activate it.
Feature Access Code for CALL FWD - FOLLOW ME = *03; OUTSIDE LINE = 8
So, *0382223334444 (FAC | LINE | AREA CODE | NUMBER)
Then if someone internal calls their extension, and forward the call no problem. If someone calls from outside, their personal phone (cell phone, home phone, etc) only rings once, and goes back to the Mitel embedded voicemail box for them.
If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it.
I have seen some reference in another post to changing trunk to trunk settings in the COS for the PRI, but not sure what that means. Oh, yeah, so note that we have a PRI, and not SIP trunking.
Thanks in advance!
