Call Forward and Voice Mail Interaction

Hi,

Basically a high percentage of our handsets are "call forwarded" to an external number. We are now thinking of getting a Voice Mail card (system is KXTDA15/30). Can these two features work together? The question is if the call is unanswered by the external number can it go to Voice Mail? I assume that if it goes to an answering machine or another VM system (e.g. mobile provider) that it is classified as answered.

panasonic systems will only fwd external or to voice mail, it will not bounce back to the system

The KXTDA 15/30 Has two call forwarding options.

You can forward Internal call to one destination
AND External call to another Destination or both to
same destination.

You are correct when you say once the call is answered,
it is answered, but depending where it answered will determine wheether it can be transferred or not.

The Message card will give you the option of either call forwarding call to Voice mail or call forward calls to Mobiles or a combination of both as decribed above.
