Hi Folks !

May be a dumb question but I cannot find a solution to this .

UCA 6.0.57
MCD 6.0 SP2

When I set up a Menu for a call Flow say digits 1 thru 9 etc . , There is a comment field . When I enter in a comment next to say digit 1 " Customer service Blind Xfer to 8373 " it accepts the comments
when I go to the next digit down , say digit 2 , I try to enter a comment next to blind xfer 8373 and it will not allow me to modify the field .

When I look down on my menu , any value that is the same , like say blind xfer to 8373 to start , Are now marked "customer service blind transfer to 8373 " .
Is this normal ?

I want to mark each digit in the Menu a seperate comment field in order to distinguish the digit locations to match Our greeting ( digit 1 may be customer service , digit 2 may be sales but send the caller to the same place , 8373 . Digit 3 may be 8375 , etc .

Why all of the same values do not allow you to edit seperate comments in these fields ?

Thx

Each action has a name

Make the name descriptive of the fuction and you are good to go

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Once you named XFR to 8373, that copies the "naming" to all instances of that Action. The entry you are trying to edit may be a shortcut to the original 8373 Action, and cannot be edited there.

I knew I was missing something ...
Always the obvious .......
Thanks !!!

I have them fixed except for digits 3 & 4 .
Every time I change choice # 3 , 4 Changes and as it will not let me rename them individually .
When I click on Digit # 4 , it highlights # 3 and will not let me highlight digit # 4

Tried to copy a screen shot but I cannot copy here .

Again, it sounds like digit 4 is a copy (shortcut) of digit 3's action.

Ah got it ...

duplicate/copied entries

I also missed 619tech's comment as well

Appreciate the help Guys

Thank You !

Everytime you need a new action you need to create and name it

You cannot re-use and modify a previously created action without modifying all instances of that action in the call flow

Yea I see that ! I will create a couple of Call flows to test on today as well .

Interesting design ....

Thanks !
