I have a 3300 CXi with analog trunks and wish to introduce the call extension to mobile phone feature. It is not cost effective to use the analog trunks because of the high tariff on leased lines or practical to use becuase of the distance to the PSTN. Are there any other solutions that one can consider for example a Fixed Cellular terminal or can one use IP trunking to connect the CXi directly to the Mobile service provider's switch. Is the APC still required ??

You could purchase a Nokia Premicell which is a cellphone that acts as a CO trunk you can then route all mobile calls via this trunk.

if you have enough bandwidth, why not see if you can get a small sip trunk package of about 5 or less trunks.

Thanks but what interfaces do I need to connect the premicell to the 3300 ( Analogue trunks, T1/E1 combo, IP network )

Please Can you recommend a premicell with multi-SIM GSM trunks since its a PBX with a number of extensions. This will also enable the customer to route calls to more than one GSM providers

Can can also recommend a small SIP package of 5 trunks and please help with info on the Skype approach

Premicells use LS analog trunks there are 6 embedded LS trunk ports.
Not sure about multi SIM units but you could use multiple Premicells each with a different provider and then route calls via ARS to the correct unit.
