Hi Guys,

I have a customer with a 3300 ICP controller, they would like a timer configured..... so when a call has been made, after say 1 hour they receive a warning tone and 5 minutes later the call is automatically terminated.

I have configured this using the extension's C.O.S and the options call duration (set to 1 hour) and call duration forced cleardown timer (set to 5 minutes)

For testing I have set the timers to 2 minutes and 1 minutes, however i don't receive a tone and after 3 minutes I'm still on the call.

Has anyone any experience is setting this up, or can anyone advise if I'm missing any configuration?

there is COS options to turn this on as well as setting the times.
Enable call duration limit on external calls - default = No
Enable call duration limit on internal calls - default = No
 
Hi Bobcheese, many thanks, didn't realize there were further options to be enabled.....

I have programmed these options against the C.O.S for the users and it didn't seem to work - only when I programmed it against the C.O.S for the trunks it actually worked.
