Call timer needed on all calls automatically; fea77 activates time on call in progress, what will enable the feature system wide

I do not know it all and I make mistakes.
 
Maybe provide more details because the phone itself will not auto call timer.
There are other options but provide the details.

Yes, the system is bcm50 release 3,& 8 t7316e.

I do not know it all and I make mistakes.
 
The only phones that show a constant timer on the BCM are the Nortel IP Telephones when connected to the BCM. All other M7000 and T7000 digital telephones require entering Feature 77 to momentarily view the call timer?

No Problem!

It was always one of those (very few) little annoying things I didn't like about Norstar/BCM, when compared to the Option 11c or Meridian 1.

The Meridian 1 phones had a timer built in.

Even the little Analog Nortel M8000 and M9000 sets had a timer button that would display the time of the call constantly.

I meant details as to what you need to achieve or the setup etc, not what BCM version.
i.e. Lawyers office needing to record the calls for billing?, you need to run 3rd party software like call accounting to achieve that.

If its just something you need to see once in a while you can pull the info from the logs or use the built in Activity Reporter or another 3rd party software.
